PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed battery which prevents an electrolyte sticking/remaining to/on the peripheral surface of an electrolyte injection hole from permeating from a gap between the peripheral surface and a gasket of the electrolyte injection hole in an electrolyte injection step. SOLUTION: An electrolyte injection hole 15 formed so as to pass through a sealing plate 12 in a sealed battery 10 includes: a rivet 16 which has a shaft 16a, a flange 16b covering the peripheral surface of the electrolyte injection hole 15, and a caulking 16c; and a gasket 18 which is inserted between the electrolyte injection hole 15 and the rivet 16 and adheres to the peripheral surface of the electrolyte injection hole 15 and the back surface of the flange 16b of a rivet 16. A ring shape first convex 17a located inside and a ring shape second convex 17b located outside are formed on the peripheral surface of the electrolyte injection hole 15. A ring shape third convex 16d is formed on the back surface of the flange 16b of the rivet 16 not so as to lay on the first convex 17a in plan view but so as to lay on the second convex 17b.
