PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a base station device that can be operated normally and can reduce power consumption, even during connection of terminal stations that operate in power-saving modes. SOLUTION: The base station device is a base station device of a radio LAN system, and the base station device includes: a terminal management section 12 for managing an operation state of each stored terminal station; an MAC section 15 for transmitting a beacon signal to each stored terminal station; and a power-saving management section 11 for deciding a beacon signal transmission period of the MAC section 15, based on a transition state to the power-saving mode of each stored terminal station and a presence-or-absence state of data transmitted and received between the respective terminal stations indicated by the operation state managed by the terminal management section 12.
