PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique for effectively restricting a receiving beacon. SOLUTION: A receiver provided with a receiving means for receiving beacons includes: a grid setting means for receiving the setting of one or more grid locators; a determining means for determining whether a grid locator corresponding to position information included in a beacon received by the receiving means coincides with any grid locator set by the grid setting means (step 76); and a storing means for storing only information of a beacon corresponding to a grid locator determined to coincide with any grid locator by the determining means (step 77).
