PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing cost of a connector. SOLUTION: The connector includes: a first connector 10 for mounting a first terminal metal fitting 12; a second connector 50 which can be fitted to the first connector 10 and on which a second terminal metal fitting 52 connectable to the first terminal metal fitting 12 by fitting is mounted; a first receiving part 29 formed on the first connector 10; a first dummy housing 27 detachably mounted on the first receiving part 29; and a second dummy housing 72 formed on the second connector 50. When the first and second dummy housings 27, 72 match to each other, fitting of the first and second connectors 10, 50 proceeds.
