The present invention relates to a method for quantitatively and qualitatively analyzing complex template nucleic acids to be amplified. The method comprises coamplifying a control nucleic acid with the complex template nucleic acid by means of an isothermal strand-displacement reaction. The method according to the present invention further comprises determining the amount of amplified control nucleic acid as a measure for determining the quantity and/or quality of the complex template nucleic acid used. The present invention also relates to a kit for performing the method according to the invention. The present invention further relates to the use of the method according to the present invention or of the kit according to the present invention to standardize whole-genome, whole-transcriptome, and whole-bisulfitome analyses. |
