PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device and the like capable of attracting a novel interest from a user thereof always. SOLUTION: A cellphone MP of an information display system S includes: a storage part 21 storing a geographical association image associated to geographical position information; a start part 22 starting processing for receiving information distribution via a network NW; a communication part 11 receiving provided information related to the information distribution; a position information acquisition part 16 acquiring present position information indicating a present position; a specification part 17 specifying the geographical position information based on the present position information; an association image extraction part 18 extracting the geographical association image associated to the specified geographical position information and related the received provided information; and a display control part 20 displaying, on a display part 12, the extracted geographical association image together with the provided information.
