<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb expansion of frozen ice by improving the structure of an optical fiber cable itself, without having to install a special pipe, such as, a hollow pipe inside the pipe for freezing, to increase the number of optical fiber cables laid inside the pipe for freezing, to make the aperture of the pipe for freezing small, and to perform optical fiber cable wiring work, without laying the special pipe. <P>SOLUTION: A material with a sheath Young's modulus of 400-600 Mpa is used for a cable jacket, the number of stacked optical fiber tape cores is 10-16, and the groove depth clearance of each groove is a groove depth in a range of 1.2 mm or greater for 10 stacked sheets to 1.5 mm for 16 stacked sheets, because at least 0.2 mm groove depth is added using, as the groove depth clearance by freezing, the drop height, when the expansion area A is represented by an isosceles triangle that uses the top side of the inlet of a slot as a leg. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
