PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide conductive particles and a manufacturing method thereof, wherein corrosion resistance is improved without decreasing hardness of a conductive layer and suppressing oxidation of the conductive layer, to provide an anisotropic conductive film using the conductive particles, to provide a joined body, and to provide a connecting method.

SOLUTION: The conductive particle has a core particle and a conductive layer formed on the surface of the core particle, and the core particle is formed of at least either of resin and metal, and the surface of the conductive layer has a hydrophobic group containing phosphorus.
