PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication network system wherein an installation construction can be facilitated by automatically setting information, which has been set to one IP telephone set using DHCP, to IP telephone sets being present within the same network. SOLUTION: A plurality of IP telephone sets are connected to a network, a DHCP server 300 and a center device 300 are connected to another network, and two networks are relayed by a router 100. Each of the plurality of IP telephone sets incorporates a DHCP server function and a DHCP relay agent function. Basic information and terminal-specific information required for a connection to the center device 301 is set to one IP telephone set beforehand and while using the IP telephone set as a master telephone set, the basic information and terminal-specific information are set to the other IP telephone set.
