PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge lamp lighting device using a high-voltage IC 3 in a transformer structure for a level shift circuit part 7, for preventing the malfunction of a control circuit due to noises flowing from a ground terminal 9 of a high voltage part 8 into the high-voltage IC 3. SOLUTION: Between the ground terminal 9 of the high voltage part 8 of the high-voltage IC 3 connected to a connection point between two switching elements Q1, Q2 of an inverter circuit part 2 and an inductor L1 of a load circuit part 4, a filter part 5 is provided for decaying high-frequency voltage.
