The drive train (1) has a set of gear wheel pairs shiftable between a gear input shaft (6) and a gear output shaft (7) for forming gears by shifting clutches (13). A kinetic energy storage (12) is selectively couplable with the drive train, and has a flywheel (15) comprising a shaft (14) connected with the drive train by the clutches. The clutches are actuated by a gearbox actuator, and have shifting elements arranged along a selector path. A continuously variable transmission (16) is arranged between the clutches and the flywheel.
