<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing utensil which sufficiently absorb the size variation of a refill and a barrel in the axial direction. <P>SOLUTION: This writing utensil 1 includes a barrel 2 and a refill 5 accommodated inside the barrel 2. The barrel 2 is formed of a forward barrel 3 and a rear barrel 4 which are constituted in such a way that they are screwed into each other. The refill 5 is equipped with a penpoint 6 projecting from the apex hole 34 of the forward barrel 3 to the outside. In the apex part of the refill 5, a fitting wall part 73 is arranged which fits into the inner wall of the forward barrel 3. At the rear end part of the refill 5, a tail plug 9 is arranged which is of a synthetic resin-made cylindrical shape with an air hole 95 and is forced into an opening at the rear end of an ink storage cylinder 8 of the refill 5, provided with an elastically deformable part 94 which is resiliently deformed in the radial direction by coming into contact with the inside wall of the rear barrel 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
