PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction port body and a vacuum cleaner which are capable of preventing the vibrations of a rotary cleaning body and surely suppressing whirling, and having excellent assemblability and maintainability. SOLUTION: The suction port body 8 includes: a box-shaped case 24 having a suction port 21 in the bottom part; a bumper portion 25 formed of a material softer than the case 24 and provided on the side part of the case 24; a pair of bearing holding portions 26 provided inside the case 24; a bearing 27 fitted to the bearing holding portions 26; and the rotary cleaning body 28 disposed at the suction port 21 and freely turnably pivoted at the bearing 27.
