PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm version information of a program and data stored in storage means in a unit such as a performance control unit. SOLUTION: The game machine includes: control ROMs 12, 14, 25 for storing the version information which represents the program for performance and the kind; CPUs 11, 13, 24 for performing the program; an interface 21 for receiving the input of a prescribed command; and interfaces 23, 26 for outputting the control signal of a performance member. The CPUs 11, 13, 24 receive the command for outputting the version information stored in the control ROMs 12, 14, 25 via the interface 21, and reads the version information from the control ROMs 12, 14, 25. A lamp control CPU 24 outputs the read version information via the interfaces 23, 26 for a lamp control signal which controls the flickering of lamps arranged in the game machine.
