PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet seat apparatus and a toilet bowl equipped with the toilet seat apparatus surely obtaining self-washing capacity of a photocatalyst layer by irradiating the surface of a toilet bowl part of a Western-style toilet bowl uniformly with ultraviolet rays irradiated from a light source apparatus without irradiating the outside of the toilet bowl. SOLUTION: The toilet bowl includes a toilet bowl body having the toilet bowl part formed with the photocatalyst layer on the surface; a toilet seat placed on the upper face of the toilet bowl body to seat a user thereon; an ultraviolet ray irradiation part formed integrally with or separately from the toilet seat to irradiate ultraviolet rays toward the photocatalyst layer of the toilet bowl part.
