PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor with high capacitance and superior heat resistance. SOLUTION: The solid electrolytic capacitor has a positive electrode 2, a dielectric layer 3 formed on the surface of the positive electrode 2, a first conductive polymer layer 4a formed on the dielectric layer 3, a second conductive polymer layer 4b formed on the first conductive polymer layer 4a, a third conductive polymer layer 4c formed on the second conductive polymer layer 4b, and a negative electrode layer formed on the third polymer layer 4c. The first conductive polymer layer 4a includes a conductive polymer layer formed by polymerizing pyrrol or its derivative, the second conductive polymer layer 4b includes a conductive polymer layer formed by polymerizing thiophene or its derivative, and the third conductive polymer layer 4c includes a conductive polymer layer formed by polymerizing the pyrrol or its derivative.
