PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid developing device that efficiently conveys circulated developer the viscosity of which has increased and removes circulated developer adhering to the internal wall of a circulating developer conveyance pipe, and to provide an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The developer conveyance pipe 82 has therein a plurality of magnetic spherical bodies 100 for promoting conveyance of developer to the inside. The magnetic spherical bodies 100 have a diameter of approximately 1 to 3 mm and are made of stainless. A movable magnet 152, that reciprocates in the lengthwise direction of the developer conveyance pipe 82, is disposed outside the developer conveyance pipe 82. The movable magnet 152 attracts the magnetic spherical bodies 100 with its magnetic force and controls the magnetic spherical bodies 100. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
