PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire tread, capable of further improving low rolling resistance, wet grip performance, and wear resistance compared to conventional levels. SOLUTION: The rubber composition is obtained by compounding 6-120 pts.wt. silica with 100 pts.wt. diene rubber containing≥70 wt.% in total of three of rubbers including emulsion polymerized styrene butadiene rubber (E-SBR), terminal-modified solution-polymerized styrene butadiene rubber (modified S-SBR), and butadiene rubber (BR). Here, the amount of BR is 10-20 wt.%, the weight ratio of the three of rubbers (E-SBR:modified S-SBR:BR) is (1-2):(3-4):1, the difference in styrene contents between the E-SBR and the modified S-SBR is≤6 wt.%, and the difference in glass transition temperature between the E-SBR and the modified S-SBR is≤7°C.
