The present invention discloses a method and equipment for self-configuring transmission in a Self-Organized Network (SON), wherein said method includes: a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) client reports its device identifier up to a DHCP server; said DHCP server configures transmission parameters for said DHCP client according to said device identifier, and transmits the parameters down to said DHCP client, wherein said transmission parameters at least include an IP address of said DHCP client; said DHCP client performs the self-configuration according to the transmission parameters. The present invention allocates a fixed IP address by using the device identifier, so the limitation caused by that the fixed IP is allocated by using MAC address can be overcome, and the maintainability is very strong.
