<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with high reliability, and to provide a manufacturing method of an electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery used for the same. <P>SOLUTION: In manufacturing the electrode of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, masking tape 2 is adhered on a collector 1 made of metal foil with intervals, a coating body is formed by coating electrode mixture and drying it, a rolling body is formed in pressure molding by a rolling mill, then a masking tape adhering part is cut off.
