<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller having improved operation performance. <P>SOLUTION: The motor controller includes: a DC/AC conversion means 6 for supplying a three-phase brushless DC motor 7 with an AC voltage obtained by converting a DC voltage 4 through a switching element, based on a PWM signal; a means 1 for detecting induced voltage of the brushless DC motor 7; a means 2 for detecting the magnetic pole position of the brushless DC motor 7 from the induced voltage; a voltage control means 3 for outputting a voltage waveform based on the magnetic pole position outputted from the magnetic pole position detecting means 2; a PWM control means 5 for converting a voltage waveform into a PWM signal; a regenerative voltage detecting means 8 for detecting a regenerative voltage included in the induced voltage; and a VDC reintroduction setting means 40 for setting a reintroduction command time, based on a physical quantity related to a motor current by outputting a reintroduction command of DC voltage a plurality of times to the regenerative voltage detecting means 8 when regeneration detecting operation continues for a predetermined time.
