<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor for certainly preventing the penetration of waterdrops or the like into an outer cylinder while having a gap between the filter provided to a venting hole and the outer cylinder. <P>SOLUTION: In the gas sensor 1 constituted so that the open air introduced from the venting hole 34 formed to the outer cylinder 3 passes through the first gap 36 provided between the filter 70 and the outer cylinder 3 before passes through the filter 70 and a venting passage 10, there is a case that the waterdrops or the like penetrating from the venting hole 34 are accumulated in the first gap 36 but, since the first adhesion part 82 formed to the first member 80 of a grommet 9 keeps the state adhered to the inner surface 37 of the outer cylinder 3, waterdrops are prevented from penetrating the leading end of the outer cylinder 3 rather than the first adhesion part 82. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
