<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of facilitating the jam disposal and replacement work of a process cartridge by enabling the jam disposal without detaching a drawer (moving member) from the body of the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The moving member (drawer 8) is constituted movably among an attaching position, a replacing position, and a jam disposal position. A regulating mechanism includes a switching lever 85, a first abutting part 85B, a second abutting part 82B, a first regulating wall A3 and a second regulating wall B1. When a predetermined number of process cartridges 51 located at the most upstream side in the drawing direction of the moving means among a plurality of process cartridges 51 are attached to the moving member, the switching lever 85 is pressed by the predetermined number of process cartridges 51, whereby the first abutting part is held at an abutting position where the first abutting part 85B abuts on the first regulating wall. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
