<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information code reader for discriminating the color of each cell of an information code by an appropriate method corresponding to the imaging state of the information code. <P>SOLUTION: An information code reader includes an "allocation size detection means" and a "size determination means", and the "allocation size detection means" is configured to detect the size of an allocation area allocated to the cell image in the code image of an information code imaged by an imaging means. Also, the "size determination means" is configured to determine the size of a region used as the object of determination in discriminating the color of each cell image on the basis of the detected size of the allocation region. Furthermore, the information code reader includes a "cell color determination means" for discriminating the color of each of cell images configuring a code image by referring to a region equivalent to the size determined by the "size determination means" in each of the cell images, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
