PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively perform the forming of a density pattern. SOLUTION: A method of molding a resin product includes: a primary molding step S1 for injection molding a molded article 3 by combining a first mold 1 and a core mold 2, and a secondary molding step S2 which transfers the molded article 3 to a second mold 4; and performs a secondary molding by filling a cavity 5 formed by the thickness according to the density pattern to form on the molded article 3, with a molten resin containing a coating composition having contrasting density changing by a thickness, between a second mold 4 and the molded article 3.
