PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device for rationally displaying an image on navigation-related information including the location of own ship position or other places. SOLUTION: The navigation device includes a wake display means for displaying a wake of an own ship based on storage contents comprising the position value of own ship position captured and stored; and a capture/storage means for capturing and storing own ship speed, at prescribed time intervals when the speed has reached a prescribed value; while capturing and storing own ship speed at prescribed distance intervals, when the speed is less than a prescribed value.
