PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, when holding energizing of a diaphragm by a stepping motor in a 1-2 phase driving system is cut off, a stop position is a 2-phase position, consequently, a diaphragm diameter is deviated to cause deviation from target exposure as much in an imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: A diaphragm value of a lens unit calculated on the basis of a control value set by a user is displayed, and also a signal corresponding to a diaphragm value different from the diaphragm value is calculated.
