摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent device with improved emission efficiency and device lifetime, by realizing proper electron injection into a light-emitting material. SOLUTION: A plurality of light-emitting elements 60 each having a substrate 10A, an anode 30 fitted to the substrate 10A, a cathode 50 opposed to the anode 30, and an organic light-emitting layer 46 arranged between the anode 30 and the cathode 50 are provided on the substrate 10A. The cathode 50 is provided with a first cathode layer 52 arranged in contact with the organic light-emitting layer 46; a second cathode layer 54 arranged opposite to the organic light-emitting layer 46 of the first cathode layer 52; and a third cathode layer 56, arranged in contact with the first cathode layer 52 between the first cathode layer 52 and the second cathode layer 54, a forming material of the third cathode layer 56 having a work function lower than those of the first cathode layer 52 and the second cathode layer 54.
