PORTABLE TERMINAL AND FACIAL IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify a face relatively simply and quickly in a portable terminal without a search server. SOLUTION: A first terminal 100a detects a face in an image acquired by imaging and transmits the face data to peripheral portable terminals 100b-100g by short-range radio communications. The transmitted face data is compared (facial identification) with the face image of a user stored in the second portable terminals 100b-100g. The first terminal 100a receives the user identification information of the user from the second terminals 100b-100d storing the corresponding face images by short-range radio communications, and displays them on a display screen and/or stores the user identification information in association with the face image on a display screen.
