PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for transmitting updated data according to an operation environment for each BD reproducing device. SOLUTION: A server 5 includes: a parameter acquisition means 311 which is communicably connected to the BD reproducing device 3a including a function of extending BD-J application stored in BD 9a using the updated data, and acquires a parameter unique to the BD reproducing device 3a from the device; and an updated data creating means 503 which creates the updated data dedicated to the BD reproducing device 3a for extending the BD-J application based on the acquired parameter and transmits the updated data to the BD reproducing device 3a.
