PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise storage device having improved handleability in storing a movable heat-insulating partitioning plate. SOLUTION: The merchandise storage device includes: a plurality of merchandise racks (20) provided along a vertical direction between rack support side plates 23, a bucket driving means (30) for driving a bucket (30B) arranged to be moved in a front area of the merchandise racks, a movable heat-insulating partitioning plate 40 arranged so as to partition vertically the front area of the merchandise racks, and moved upward when the bucket driving means 30 abuts from below, a partitioning support side plate 42 for supporting the movable heat-insulating partitioning plate 40 movably along a vertical direction, by advancing a locking protrusion 401 of the movable heat-insulating partitioning plate 40 into a locking groove 421 formed thereon, and a locking member 43 arranged so that a locking groove 431 formed thereon is adjacent to an upper end of the locking groove 421 in the partitioning support side plate 42, and for locking the movable heat-insulating partitioning plate 40, when advancing the locking protrusion 401 of the movable heat-insulating partitioning plate 40 moved upward into the locking groove 431.
