<p>The present invention relates to a low-irritant, highly-functional permanent wave composition, and more particularly, to the manufacture of a perm composition that imparts waves to straight hair and conversely straightens wavy hair. The composition comprises: L-cysteine, which breaks a cysteine disulfide bond of keratin and reduces it to cysteine; arginine which helps L-cysteine penetrate deep into the keratin fiber of the hair by swelling the keratin fiber; L-acetylcysteine which assists the function of the L-cysteine; the essential amino acid of histidine to regenerate the hair; a peptide for the proliferation of dermal papilla cells which aids in the healthy growth of hair; citrus peel which comprises d-limonene as a main ingredient for preventing hair loss; green tea which helps the convergence action of the scalp; chlorella which functions to disinfect and deodorize the scalp, Opuntia ficus-indica which prevents the generation of keratin or removes keratin from the scalp, and a polyquaternium or heissen thickener for controlling the viscosity of the perm composition, in order to form resilient and long-lasting curls and straight hair in a short period of time without irritating the hair and scalp.</p> |
