<p>A flight information client (7) of a ground system (2) acquires data from a flight server (5) which distributes flight information. Said flight information client (7) converts the received data to a form optimal for display on information screens on board a train. This data processed by said flight information client (7) is sent to a display control server (12) on a train via a ground-train network (4) by means of a data transmitter (8). Said display control server (12) uses a train-wide network (14) to send this processed data to display controllers (15) located on each train car. Said display controllers (15) generate images from said processed data and display said images on display devices (17). In this way, the most up-to-date flight information can be displayed on a train.</p> |
