<p>PURPOSE: A hinge assembly and a portable terminal with the same are provided to keep the first and second plates in parallel each other, thereby rotating the first and second plates. CONSTITUTION: A power transfer gear(240) is coupled by a base member. The power transfer gear is coupled with the first and second gears. The power transfer gear transfers rotation power between the first and second gears. An elastic module generates elastic power to prevent the first and second plates from rotating by gravity. The elastic module semi-automatically rotates the first and second plates when the first and second plates move each other.</p> |
