<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of cooling at low cost, while restraining equipment investment and a change in shape. <P>SOLUTION: A voltage regulator of AC generators for vehicles includes a cooling member abutting on a circuit of the voltage regulator 7 to cool the circuit, and an intake 2b so formed in a case 2 as to oppose the cooling member. The cooling member is composed by combining first and second cooling plates 72, 73 each including a plurality of fins 72a, 73a that are projected in one direction on a substrate and have the same cross-section shape.
