摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress variation in the drive current of an organic EL element resulting from a kink phenomenon of a drive transistor, and to improve the image quality of a display image. <P>SOLUTION: Three values of electric potential Vccp1, Vccp2, and Vini can be set as an electric potential of a power supply line for supplying current to the drive transistor of a pixel (drain electric potential Vd of the drive transistor). The drain electric potential Vd of the drive transistor is made to differ between a threshold correction period and an emission period. Specifically, it is set to the middle electric potential Vccp2 in the threshold correction period and the high electric potential Vccp1 in the emission period.
