<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photovoltaic power generator capable of reducing an operation cost required for maintenance, exchange, and the like of an inverter, even in a large-scale system. <P>SOLUTION: The photovoltaic power generator is equipped with a plurality of solar-battery array unit 102, having a solar-battery array 103 including a plurality of solar-battery panels 101, and an inverter unit 104, including a small-capacity inverter which inverts the output of the solar-battery array 103 from DC to AC to supply the power to a power cable 105.
