<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain generation of wrinkles in a mixture non-coated part of an electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: An electrode 3 has a first and a second mixture layers 7a, 7b formed on either face of a collector 6 made of a metal foil. At least at either of side edge parts 61, 62 along a length direction of the collector 6, a mixture non-formed part where neither of mixture layers 7a, 7b is formed with the metal foil exposed therein, is continuously formed on both faces of the collector in a length direction, and, as seen from a thickness direction of the electrode 3, a formation position of an end edge part of each mixture layer 7a, 7b nearer to the mixture non-formed part is in a position shifted from each other in a short side direction, so that the mixture layers 7a, 7b of the electrode sheet are formed so as to satisfy a formula (1): 0.1≤X/Y≤1.0 (X is a shift width (mm) between the end edge part of the first mixture and the end edge part of the second mixture layer nearer to the mixture layer non-formed part, and Y is an average density (g/cm<SP>3</SP>) of the mixture). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
