<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a structure and a method for assembling an operating cable of a hood lock device, which enable the operating cable to be assembled after fixing a base plate to a radiator support. <P>SOLUTION: In the base plate 24, a through-portion 40B, which communicates with a first locking portion 40A so as to make an outer member 14C of the operating cable 14 pass through the first locking portion 40A, is opened to the other side of the side of a radiator support 12, while a second locking portion 50A of a pole 42 is opened to the other side of the side of the radiator support 12. Thus, in the assembly of the operating cable 14, after a leading end locking portion 14B of the operating cable 14 is arranged in a position to be locked to the second locking portion 50A, the operating cable 14 is passed through the opening of the second locking portion 50A and the opening of the through-portion 40B, so that the outer member 14C of the operating cable 14 can be locked to the first locking portion 40A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
