PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a stable and uniform electric field between a nozzle plate 260 and an absorbing member 420 to stick aerosol to the absorbing member 420. SOLUTION: A liquid jetting apparatus includes a liquid jetting head having the conductive nozzle plate 260 and ejecting liquid to a recording material 300 from an opening 262 of the nozzle plate 260; the absorbing member 420 disposed facing the nozzle plate 260 in the ejected direction of the liquid and absorbing a liquid drop 266 that has not reached the recording material 300 while having conductivity; an electrode member 430 adjacent to the rear side of a face facing the nozzle plate 260, of the absorbing member 420; and a potential difference generating means 700 generating a potential difference between the nozzle plate 260 and the electrode member 430 to electrically attract liquid to the electrode member 430 side.
