PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a programmable controller that identifies a range affected by a failure of a control program detected in a production site, without using a special server. SOLUTION: The programmable controller 100 includes a first storage part 110 and a use history retrieval part 140. In the first storage part 110, a first circuit block identification code 121 for uniquely identifying a circuit block 102 and a second circuit block identification code 122 for uniquely identifying the circuit block 102 used until the circuit block is created are set in association with each other. The use history retrieval part 140 retrieves data in the first storage part 110 according to the predetermined circuit block identification code.
