Corner joint is formed among three structural members by positioning two of the members against each other and positioning a third member in abutting relationship to the first two members. A three-armed connecting member or bracket is located against stop surfaces on the members and secured thereto so that the three members are ridgedly held in fixed relationship to each other. Improved fastening in accordance with the invention is formed by positioning a fastening member or connector member between two opposed surfaces of another member such as a structural member for a corner joint. A sidewall on the structural member is permanently deformed into a recess in the connector member in a manner such that the connector member and the structural member cannot move relative to each other in any direction. |
