METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING SERVING CALL SESSION CONTROL FUNCTION (S-CSCF) ALTERATION IN INTERNET PROTOCOL MULTIMEDIA SUB-SYSTEM (IMS) NETWORK

A method and system for processing Serving Call Session Control Function (S-CSCF) alteration in Internet protocol Multimedia Sub-system (IMS) network are disclosed in the present invention. Wherein, the method includes that after receiving a server assignment request sent from an S-CSCF, if the Home Subscriber Server (HSS) detects that the register status of a user in the HSS is registered and the S-CSCF2 which the user registeres in this time is not accordant with the S-CSCF1 which the user registered in and was assigned last time, then the HSS sends a server assignment failure acknowledgement to the S-CSCF2 and it is indicated in the server assignment failure acknowledgement that the S-CSCF which the user registers in is altered; and after receiving the server assignment failure acknowledgement, if it is indicated in the failure acknowledgement that the S-CSCF is altered, the S-CSCF2 sends a Multimedia-Auth-Request (MAR) to the HSS. The present invention avoids the shortcoming that a user can not register and then can not use network service caused by S-CSCF alteration, and ensures the user data coherency throughout an IMS network.
