PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a geared motor having a new structure obtained by incorporating a magnetic induction type clutch operating force takeout mechanism in an electric motor without causing step-out in the electric motor, and also without requiring assembly of neodymium-iron-boron system magnet separate from a rotor magnet to the electric motor, and also to provide a method of manufacturing the geared motor. SOLUTION: In the geared motor, induction rings 142 are disposed in opposition to both magnetic poles of an induction magnet 38 and the rotor magnet 40 in the radial direction, respectively. Moreover, reverse magnetic poles are formed at the induction magnet 38 and the rotor magnet 40 to which the induction rings 142 are opposed in the radial direction so that pairs are made at the same position in the circumferential direction.
