<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic reproduction system for enhancing presence by arranging a pair of right and left front speakers, and one or more speakers for sound effect reproduction before and behind a viewing position each, performing processing for extracting and specifying components of sound to be localized upward and sound to be spread, subsequently outputting the signals thereof from both front and back speakers of the speakers for sound effect reproduction and bringing about an effect for spreading a sound field vertically or raising a sound image upward without damaging an installation property. <P>SOLUTION: By outputting signals subjected to specific processing from both the speakers 15 and 16 for sound effect reproduction arranged before and behind the viewing position, it is difficult to locate the anteroposterior positions of sound sources, and the presence of sound is increased and a deviation between a TV screen and the sound is reduced by action of sound psychology. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
