<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a computational complexity and power consumption for expanding resolution at an optional target magnification factor using super resolution. <P>SOLUTION: Both first arithmetic processing (12) without depending on super resolution for obtaining target magnification and second arithmetic processing (11) by super resolution are used, and types of magnification capable of being designated by the second arithmetic processing is set smaller than those capable of being designated by the first arithmetic processing. For instance, the types of magnification capable of being designated by the second arithmetic processing are set as fixed magnification such as two-fold one, and the magnification capable of being designated by the first arithmetic processing is optional. Thereby, the computational complexity can be reduced as compared with the case where resolution data by optional target magnification are provided only by super-resolution processing, and power consumption can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
