<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of improving deterioration of a fuel cell due to abnormal operation (start-stop and fuel shortage) and low in cost. <P>SOLUTION: An anode side catalyst composition for the fuel cell contains a catalyst to carry catalyst particles and an ion exchange resin in a conductor, and the catalyst particles are composed of a metal, a metal oxide, a partial metal oxide, or a mixture of these in which oxygen reducing capacity and water electrolysis overvoltage are both lower than those of platinum and which have hydrogen oxidizing capacity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
