PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal separator that almost dispenses with periodical operation of disposing water condensation by quickly vaporizing water condensation generated in a rotor chamber. SOLUTION: The centrifugal separator includes: an attachable/detachable rotor 3; a motor for rotating the rotor 3; a controller for controlling driving of the motor; cooling devices (13, 14, 15) for cooling the rotor chamber in which the rotor is housed; a fan 17 for discharging waste heat generated in the separator to the outside; a discharge cover with ventilation holes for passing the waste heat; and a drain hose for discharging the water condensation of the rotor chamber outside. In the centrifugal separator, there are provided a receiving tray 31b that is situated in the lower part of the outlet of the drain hose and that is for collecting waste water and a receiving tray cover 31 that covers the ventilation part of discharged heat and that has a cover part 31a having a plurality of ventilation holes, wherein the receiving tray cover 31 is integrally composed of heat conductive materials such as aluminum, copper and zinc alloy.
