PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding device capable of superfinishing an outer ring of a double row tapered roller bearing at one time. SOLUTION: The grinding device 1 includes a first grinding stone holding device 2 and a second grinding stone holding device 3 for holding a superfinishing grinding stone, and a moving device 6 making the first grinding stone holding device advance and retreat with respect to a side to which a grinding surface 16 of the held superfinishing grinding stone 7 faces and making the second grinding stone holding device advance and retreat with respect to a side to which the grinding surface of the held superfinishing grinding stone faces synchronously with advancing or retreating of the first grinding stone holding device. An advancing direction of the first grinding stone holding device and an advancing direction of the second grinding stone holding device are opposite from each other by 180 degrees and separate from each other, and the first grinding stone holding device and the second grinding stone holding device are integrally oscillated.
