PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure of an aluminum shape which can cut down on costs. SOLUTION: In the joint structure 10 of the aluminum shape 12 having a hollow cross section, a sawtooth-like unevenness 20 is provided on the hollow inner surface 18 of the aluminum shape 12 in a state where the sawtooth-like unevenness 20 axially cuts in the hollow inner surface 18 while a joint member is inserted in the hollow interior 14 of the aluminum shape 12. An unevenness for engaging with irregularities 20 is formed on the outer surface of the joint member. The joint structure 10 is also provided with crimping means 28, 30 which press and fit the hollow inner surface 18 of the aluminum shape 12 and the outer surface of the joint member, and slits 24, 34 which axially extend from an opening end 22 of the aluminum shape 12.
